About Sundowners Daycare and Resource Centre
Sundowners Day Care and Resource Centre is a
non-profit organization that provides a variety of services throughout
Essex County. Its' Board of Directors is committed to supporting
high-quality, accessible care for school-age children. This is being
addressed in part by operating a variety of child care services
including full-day, and before and after school programs, in a
school-based, centre environment. Workshops designed by Sundowners are available for children 9-12 years, and can be used to assist in developing "self care" skills.
Who We Are Sundowners Day Care and Resource Centre is a charitable non-profit
organization located in Windsor, Ontario.
An “Umbrella” model of governance was chosen by the Board of Directors
to ensure consistent and reliable program quality for centres located in
a variety of school communities.
Founded in 1987 with a mandate to develop school based child care and
related support services for children and their families.
We are a group of over 100 professionals committed to creating a system
of school based services for children.
