Sundowners Families, An announcement was made by the provincial government on January 12, 2021 indicating the province will be entering a state of emergency effective immediately. This also includes extended closures of schools to in-person learning until at least February 10, 2021. This means that all before and after school programs will be closed until in-person learning resumes. Update:  January 7, 2021 Area media outlets are reporting that Dr. Wajid Ahmed, Medical officer of health with the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit is recommending students continue with remote learning until at least the end of the lockdown, January 23, 2021.
