The City of Windsor – Children’s Services has announced an exciting Affordability Pilot Project to assist families with affordability of licensed child care for their young children.
There will be a $6.00 reduction in Full Day Per Diem Rates and a $3.00 reduction in Half Day Per Diem Rates for Toddler and Preschool Programs. This pilot project will run from May 1, 2018 until December 31, 2018. Sundowners’ accounting department will be calculating and processing credits for months already paid and adjusting rates for any future care. Information will be sent directly to your site location in the coming weeks.
Families using subsidized full day care during the pilot project:
- If your co-pay is greater than $6.00 per day, your co-pay will be reduced by $6.00 per day.
- If your co-pay is $6.00 or less, but more than $0.00 per day, you will not have a co-pay
- If your co-pay is $0.00 there will be no change to your account
