What to Do:

Sketch a basic design on a piece of construction paper. Using the other pieces of paper cut a large number of small squares. Working in sections, apply glue to the drawing and press on the paper squares over top of your drawing to recreate the picture in colour. Be sure that you are spacing the paper squares slightly apart creating a mosaic picture.
