Sidewalk Scrabble
- Using chalk, one-child prints out a starting word (the longer the better) in a central spot on the driveway or sidewalk.
- The second player then writes a new word that uses one of the letters from the starter word. For example if SIDEWALK is your first word, the next player can use the K and spell KITE with it, writing it vertically on the sidewalk.
- Each player takes turns using their own colour of chalk and building on each other’s words, until everyone has gone five turns.
- Players earn a point for each letter in their words, and the player with the highest total wins.
This game can also be played on a piece of paper using different coloured crayons or markers.
